l will be organising a workshop shortly for anybody who wishes to learn to use their sewing machine confidently, or for anyone who wishes to learn free machining. This means drawing with your sewing machine which can then lead on to making bowls, bags or embellishments.

You would be bringing your own machine which enables you continue stitching at home with confidence.

Please keep checking back for dates.

After such a successful textile exhibition that the East Coast Stitcher’s had at the S.O.C which finished in February there has been a lot of interest shown in textile art. I have had many enquiries in my shop in Aberlady East Lothian about classes.

I have just finished a set of classes and everybody seems to have really enjoyed themselves. I am organising more classes so everybody can enjoy the textile art experience for themselves.

You will learn how to use your sewing machine, re thread etc and experiment with different stitches (if your machine has them) and then onto free machining if you wish with themselves aim of making surfaces ready to stitch and making a variety of finished articles of your choice.
